Digital X-rays
It is important to know that your doctor is keeping up with the constant and rapid advancements in modern dental technology. Digital x-rays are just one more advantage you will have at your disposal when you visit our office. Instead of using a conventional film, we use a special computer sensor which puts the x-ray picture directly into the computer and which allows us to reduce the amount of harmful radiation by nearly 90%. Since the pictures are in the computer, we can enhance the images to better diagnose conditions--often before they become problems. This proves to be much more convenient for you because the x-rays can then be displayed on the computer right in front of you!

Electric Headpieces
For our patients' comfort, Dr. Bruce Nelson uses the quietest headpieces available. These KaVo electric headpieces provide superior precision and smoother preparations for our dental procedures.
Intra-oral Dental Camera
Handheld digital intra-oral cameras can enhance our ability to view certain areas and can help us to share the images with our patients to enhance diagnosis and patient education.
Laser Dentistry
Dr. Bruce Nelson's office uses the PerioLase® MVP-7™ which is FDA approved and manufactured by Millennium Dental Technologies in the USA. It can be used as part of our patient-friendly and minimally invasive treatments for gum disease and other soft-tissue procedures. Microscope Enhanced Dentistry
Our dental office provides the purest water possible throughout our entire building with our O-So Pure Water system using filtration with ultraviolet and reverse osmosis. Independent lab reports show that O-So Pure systems remove 99% or greater of waterborne bacteria, cyst and fine sediments. O-So Pure is a locally based company in the Phoenix area.
